Knuckle up

After the ‘arm party’ (read: layering multiple different bracelets on your wrist) we’ve got a new hot trend on our hands for the summer. The jewelry-trend-I-can’t-get-enough-of is the midi-ring.

Midi-rings are tiny thin rings in gold or silver that fit just above your knuckle. If you like to keep it chic and sophisticated you can opt for the classic little golden or silver rings. If you want to add some extra for a glam or rock ‘n roll look, go for midi-rings with an infinity or peace sign or even skulls and arrows. There are really no limits! Pile up different midi-rings in as well silver and gold, you can even combine them with statement rings.

However, statement rings are no longer needed to make a statement and attract all attention to your hands. Finish the look by combining the midi-rings with ultra long nails in powerful or pastel colors and your hands are summer ready!
Celebs are loving the jewelry trend, and off course the ultimate urban chic chick Riri is. Being one of the first to rock this trend, she is the perfect inspiration.

Geek Chic

What better city to blog from than the fashion capital London. Sitting in Starbucks near Covent Garden with a caramel macchiato, I found it the perfect moment to write my next blog post.

This time I wanted to write you about a look that is everywhere right now. Spotted on the Streets of London as well, is the Geek Chic look. Being the studious girl of the group, I was called a geek too many times before. Well, the awesome moment arrived when it is finally cool to be a geek! The trend goes beyond nerdy glasses, think jeweled collars, cropped pants, oxfords flats.. And if you really want to make a statement, go for these printed tops. Combining them with a skirt and classy silver accessories you'll really get the Geek chic look. Styling them with a boyfriend jeans and some studded heels you'll get a more tougher look. I definitely love both, which one do you prefer?

Anyway, it is the moment to show off the inner geek in you and never be too school for cool again!
